Lisa has over eight years of experience in both heme and solid tumor cancers. Although relatively new to Austin, she developed a love for oncology on a Bone Marrow Transplant unit in Nashville. She went on to work at the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center where she spent time in breast oncology and most recently as a Research Nurse Specialist, involved with clinical trials in melanoma and renal cell carcinoma.
She received a Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee. She is also an Oncology Certified Nurse.
She loves what she does because it is so fulfilling to make a difference in a patient’s journey throughout the treatment and recovery process.
Lisa enjoys traveling and visiting her daughter who attends college in Tennessee. She also enjoys running, cooking, and attending UT sporting events with her husband.
